One thing that Samsung is acing at is its marketing gimmick. Releasing three more pro-Galaxy S9 and anti-iPhone X ads, Samsung is making sure users know which phone is the best in different ways.
Along with teasing hints about it upcoming Galaxy Note 9, Samsung is also teasing Apple and its latest phone’s cons openly in its ‘Ingenius’ ad campaign. This time the company has pointed out iPhone X’s notch, lack of microSD slot, and no split-screen feature, hence no multitasking.
So better grab your popcorn and enjoy the short entertaining ads.
Samsung continues making fun of Apple in more ads
This ad addresses the problem with the iPhone X classic ‘notch’ covering up the screen where the customer complains that the notch covers a significant amount of the screen while watching a movie. The ad ends with a family coming in, all with notch hairstyles.
The second ad points out iPhone X’s no microSD card. The customer asks about where the card slot is to which the employee informs that there is no card slot. The customer says that the Galaxy S9 has one and explains that she doesn’t want her data stored in cloud, but in the phone.
The third ad talks about no split-screen option in iPhone X, which is present in Galaxy S9 in comparison. The employee offers to download another app via App Store since the phone couldn’t multitask.
In its ingenius ad campaign that started last week, Samsung has been pointing out all the flaws of iPhone X bluntly and compared it to how Galaxy S9 is way better option, ending with a tagline ‘Upgrade to Galaxy’.
