JUI-F decides to continue protest against KP vote rigging

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to continue protest against rigging in local bodies' polls and fully participate in the public meeting to be held under the auspices of Tri-Party Alliance in provincial capital on June 16 (Tuesday). Decisions to this effect were taken in a meeting of the general council of the provincial chapter of the party held here with acting provincial chief, Maulana Rafiullah Qasmi in the chair.
Those who attended were included Maulana Shuja-ul-Mulk, Abdul Jalil Jan, Maulana Atta-ul-Haq Darwaish, Maulana Saleh Shah, Maulana Ashraf Ali, Maulana Fazal Mahbood, Maulana Ainuddin, Mufti Kifayatullah, Istiqbal Khan, Qari Abdullah, Hamid Shah, Amanullah Haqqani, Mufti Sajjad, Maulana Mohammad Hashim Khan, Leader of the Opposition in KP Assembly, Maulana Lutf-ur-Rehman, Mehmood Khan Betani MPA, Maulana Jamaluddin MNA and others.
The meeting reviewed the performance of district chapters, LB elections, rigging, mismanagement, partiality of government, arrests of JUI-F workers, registration of FIRs against them, delay in results of elections and other matters and then took some crucial decisions.
Later, briefing the media, provincial general secretary Maulana Shuja-ul-Mulk and provincial secretary information, Abdul Jalil Jan said that JUI-F will continue the ongoing protest against the rigging of the ruling party and will fully participate in the public meeting of June 16 to express no-confidence in government and raise effective voice against the provincial government.
Expressing concerns over continuous delay in the announcement of the results of LB polls, they said that those who were constantly alleging rigging themselves broke the record of rigging.
The meeting expressed concern over the arrest of district general secretary, Charsadda, Pir Gohar Ali Shah.
