19 Jun, 2015

Secretary General, Jamaat e islami, Liaqat Bloch, has said that the country was confronted with political, economic and security crises but the national leaders are committing blunders and advancing the enemy anti state forces agenda to destabilise the country. Addressing the JI's political advisory council meeting considering the prevailing political tensions here, he said that elimination of terrorism and restoration of peace in Karachi was the collective decision of all parties.
He said if the money collected through corruption, plunder, target killing and different mafias was being used for terrorism, it must be wiped out in line with the National Action Plan and the national consensus. The political governments should not make it a matter of prestige. Liaqat Baloch said that if the security institutions were crossing their limits and the federal or the provincial governments and political parties had complaints against that, these issues should also be reviewed in the broader national spirit and the national security should not be placed at a risk through mudslinging, provocations or party politics.
The JI Secretary General said that the advent of the holy month of Ramadan should be welcomed by the federal and provincial governments in true spirit and there should be no loadshedding during Sehr and Iftar timings to facilitate the fasting people in this extreme hot season.
