KP chief minister launches traffic warden service in Peshawar

KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak formally launched modern Traffic Warden Service in provincial metropolis on Thursday. The service was launched in a ceremony held here in Police Lines. The Inspector General of Police (IGP) KP Nasir Khan Durrani also addressed the ceremony and highlighted causes of traffic problems in detail in the provincial capital and presented proposals for their resolution.
The police chief expressed confidence that besides minimising the traffic related problems, it will also provide a morale traffic service to the people. Addressing the ceremony, the chief minister recalled that in his maiden speech in the provincial assembly he have presented the five-year agenda of his government in the province, which was also included his programme for bringing traffic system in the province at par with developed countries.
