The Punjab Provincial Co-operative Bank has recovered Rs 590m agriculture loans advanced for sowing, growing and harvesting of Rabi crops 2014-15 till 15th June 2015, President / CEO of PPCBL Muhammad Ayub said here on Wednesday. He said the co-operative bank has also advanced Rs 570m agriculture loans for sowing and growing of Kharif crops including rice, cotton, sugarcane, vegetables, maize and fodder for the livestock till middle of this month.
He instructed the field staff to achieve the recovery and lending targets by 30th June. All efforts will be made for recovering of non-performing loans for which the co-operative bank has given special incentives to the defaulters, he added.
