Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has felicitated the nation on the advent of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak and urged them to pray for the country's peace and prosperity during the sacred month. "Our government, with the blessings of Allah Almighty and with the prayers of elderly people, mothers, daughters, sisters and brothers, has made many achievements in terms of economy and defence during the last two years," the Prime Minister said in a message to the nation.
The Prime Minister called upon people to particularly pray during the Sehr, Iftar and Taraveeh so that the country remains safe from any external conspiracies and achieves progress and development. He said the enemy was continuously engaged in new conspiracies and was bent upon destabilising Pakistan. But we, Insha Allah, will not let the enemy succeed in its nefarious designs, and will foil every plot against our sacred land through determination, courage and will," he said. The Prime Minister said Operation Zarb-e-Azb had achieved uncountable successes in fighting out terrorists and added that the country was making rapid progress with each passing day.
