Federal Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Sunday inaugurated the roads of Airport, high court and Adiala which have a total cost of Rs 1100 million including their construction, repairing and widening. The Interior Minister said on this occasion that Koral Chowk to Nur Khan Air Base road will be completed at a cost of 502 million rupees. G.T Road Sawan to Scheme-3 project will cost 313 million rupees while portion of Adiala Road will be completed at 285 million rupees.
Chaudhry Nisar also addressed a small public congregation during which the people informed him of load shedding issues.
The minister while overlooking the question said that the matter will be resolved soon whereas he also refused to talk to the media and stated that he had not called them on the occasion
Chaudhry Nisar said that the government is giving special emphasis on early completion of development projects in the health, education and social welfare sectors. He said that the provision of basic facilities to the general public is the top priority of the government.
