Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah on Monday lashed out at the government for prolong load shedding, adding that it seems the incumbent government might not be able to fulfil its claim to end power crisis by 2018. Talking to media at his residence in Sukkur, Shah questioned as to where were those who protested against load shedding at Minar-e-Pakistan by setting up tent office there during PPP's regime.
To a question, the PPP leader said corruption started in the country during dictators' rule. The incumbent government itself put a general behind the bars on the charges of treason and now they are making hue and cry against Asif Ali Zardari's statement, he added.
Shah said that option to include Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in the provincial government is not being reviewed at the moment, however his party would continue the policy of reconciliation. To a question regarding ties with India, Shah said it will be good if a meeting between Prime Ministers Nawaz Sharif and Narendra Modi takes place.
