Actress Mouni Roy, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar in ‘Gold’, has now signed four more Bollywood movies, while she will also play a pivotal role in Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s ‘Brahmastra’.
Mouni has recently returned from the ‘Brahmastra’ shoot in Bulgaria and in an interview with Mumbai Mirror she talked about her role in the movie and how it is to be on the sets of the film with some big stars.
The actress revealed that director Ayan Mukerji instinctively felt she could pull off the role after which they went through a long process of look tests. “While I can’t reveal much about my character, I can say that I am the only villain of the Ranbir film,” says Mouni.
‘Brahmastra’ is a romantic superhero film. Ranbir earlier confirmed that the film is a 'romantic-fairytale in a supernatural format'. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan in an important role.
Talking about sharing screen with Big B, Mouni said, "It was surreal. I was like this little puppy who was just excited to see him and didn’t know what to do and after giving a shot with him I could have happily died. Who would have imagined that a girl from Cooch Behar would be sharing the screen with Amitabh Bachchan”.
Mouni will also be seen in a film titled ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’, alongside John Abraham and then in ‘Made in China’ with Rajkummar Rao.
