The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has served a notice on D.J. Butt for payment of Rs 17.2 million as sales tax on "event management services" he rendered during prolonged Dharnas (sit-ins) staged by Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI). It may be recalled that Jan Muhammad popularly known as D J Butt confessed that he had received millions of rupees from PTI for his event management services but an amount of Rs 8 million is still outstanding against PTI.
