More rains forecast in next 24 hours

The Met Office on Wednesday forecast more rains with thundershower for the country in the next 24 hours. Rains are expected at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Zhob, Kohat, Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Multan, D.G.Khan, D.I.Khan and Bahawalpur divisions, besides Kashmir and isolated places in Peshawar, Mardan, Bannu, F?ATA, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Quetta, Sibbi, Larkana, Hyderabad and Sukkur divisions. Hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
Rainfall in the last 24 hours: In Islamabad (Golra 156mm, Saidpur 154mm, Bokra 120mm, Z.P 66 mm), Malamjabba 37mm, Murree 35 mm, Rawalakot 32mm, Kakul 30.3mm, Muzaffarabad 23, Bahawalpur City 21.5mm, Bahawalpur Airport 15mm, Rawalpindi (Shamsabad 13mm, Chaklala 8mm) and Garhi Dupatta 12mm.
Partly cloudy/cloudy and humid weather with chances of light rain/drizzle during night/morning is forecast for Karachi in the next 24 hours. Temperature is expected range between 33 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius with 65-57 percent humidity. Heat index is expected at 38 degrees. Hot/very hot and humid weather is likely to prevail in most parts of the province. Shaheed Benazirabad was the hottest place in the country in the last 24 hours with 43 degrees followed by Nokkundi, Panjgur, Bunji and Dadu with 42 each.
