A computer glitch grounded United Continental flights at US airports on Wednesday, the Federal Aviation Administration said. All flights were prevented from taking off due to "automation issues," the FAA said. United Airlines confirmed on its Twitter account that it was experiencing a "network connectivity issue" that it was working to resolve.
It was the second time in six weeks United flights have been grounded due to a computer problem. In early June flights were grounded in the US for more than 40 minutes.
