Road Safety Training Institutes established in major districts

As per directions of Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police Muhammad Saleem Bhatti Central Zone has established state of the art Road Safety Training Institutes (Driving Schools) in all the major districts of Pakistan which will result in improvement in traffic discipline.
The professional training of these drivers will open opportunities of employment for them in Pakistan as well as abroad said DIG Central Zone Mirza Faran Baig while inspecting the performance of Road Safety Training Institutes.
DIG Mirza Faran Baig said that road safety has gained much importance among expanding network of national highways and there is dire need for research on modern lines in order to promote road safety culture and reduction of traffic accidents. By identifying the problems of road safety, accident ratio can be reduced and highways be made safer than before. Motorway Police following these line has established state of the art Road Safety Training Institutes in all important cities including Lahore, Kasur, Sahiwal, Okara, Pakpattan, Bahawalnagar, Muzafar Garh, Layya, Khanewal, Multan, Lodhran, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan. The 3820 persons have been trained in 159 courses by 18 Road Safety Training Institutes in Central Zone whereas 360 persons are under training, he added.
