Scotland Yard on Monday completed interrogation from the second suspect of Khalid Shamim in Imran Farooq murder case. The third suspect Mohsin Ali will be interrogated by the Scotland Yard after Eid. Earlier, they had interrogated Moazzam Ali after which they were allowed to probe Khalid Shamim. According to sources, the Scotland Yard team will return to London during this week.
On the other hand, Rangers handed over Moazzam Ali to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) with the advice on Karachi's Anti-Terror Court (ATC). A letter of the Rangers' sector commander was also presented before the special court, stating that the FIA has been issued a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) for interrogating Moazzam Ali.
Moazzam Ali had been arrested from Azizabad. He has been accused of sending the suspects of Imran Farooq murder case to London and providing them with financial assistance. Another key suspect of the case Kashif has not yet been arrested. The Rangers put forth a plea in anti-terrorism court (ATC) seeking transference of the criminal's custody for further investigation. A letter written by the Rangers Sector Commander was also forwarded to the court that stated FIA was given a non-objection certificate (NOC) on June 27.
