Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday held an iftar-dinner to remember and honour the martyrs and survivors of the deadly terrorist attack that took place at the Army Public School in Peshawar in December last year. Speaking on the occasion, Army Chief said that APS martyrs can never be forgotten, adding that the terrorists involved in the grave act have met their logical end. He said the operation against terrorism will continue until the last of the terrorist is taken down.
General Sharif said that the armed forces and the whole nation stands in solidarity with the APS school martyrs, adding that the tragedy had united the nation. He said that tragic incident is unforgettable and that no religion or society allows for such acts. General Sharif's spouse was also accompanying him during the iftar-dinner.
