QWP chief visits monument of APS students

Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Chairman Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao visited Yadgar-e-Shuhada monument of Army Public School (APS) and paid homage to the students for their sacrifices. He said the nation would not forget the blood of our children killed by terrorists last year and his party would support every effort to eliminate terrorism from the country.
QWP chief laid floral wreath on Yadgar-e-Shuhada monument and offered Fateha for the martyrs. QWP Provincial Chairman Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao, Information Secretary Tariq Ahmad Khan, Chairman Fata Asad Afridi, Secretary Social Media Nasreen Khattak, Chairman District Peshawar Muhammad Ibrar Khalil and other office-bearers were also present on the occasion.
On the other hand, he telephoned Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, former president Hamid Karzai and Deputy Speaker of the Lower House of The Afghan Parliament Mirwais Yasini separately and extended his good wishes on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. The QWP chief, who is also the convenor of Pak-Afghan Parliamentary Friendship Group, also discussed geo-political situation of the region and issue of mutual concerns with Afghan leadership.
