He also directed the officials of Livestock department to take special initiatives to prevent all the animals from ticks.

He said that livestock farmers, butchers, veterinary doctors and other people to be engaged in animal handing can be affected from diseases.

He advised that animals be examined after establishing the check posts at all inter city entry points and tick affected animals be separated for treatment.

He said it should be ensured that only healthy animals enter in the city and veterinary doctors as well as para-veterinary staff must be present at the sites.
