Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan along with his wife Reham Khan reached Chitral on Wednesday evening. After landing at the airport, they were driven straight to the Hindu Kush Heights hotel. Sources told Business Recorder that the PTI chief's Chitral visit was pre-planned and private. He is set to attend the engagement ceremony of his nephew (Alima Khan's son) in the scenic Ayun town on Thursday.
The sources said the engagement of a son of Imran Khan's sister Alima Khan would be held in the former royal family. Imran Khan's sister and other family members have already reached Chitral. The engagement ceremony will be attended by close family members and friends of the would-be bride and groom. During the visit, the PTI chairman would also visit the Kalash valley to meet the flood-affected people. He will stay in Chitral for two days, during which he will also visit different flood-hit areas. Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and other party leaders are already in Chitral.
