Modest business activity was seen on the wholesale grain market on Monday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Guwar Sindh gained Rs 100 to Rs 4700 and Rs 4800, Guwar Punjab low type was down by Rs 700 to Rs 4300 and best quality was lower by Rs 800 to Rs 4400, dealers said. On the rice side, Irri-6 Sindh low type was up by Rs 25 to Rs 2850 and the good type lost Rs 100 to Rs 2950, they said. On the seeds side, cotton seeds oilcake with bag Sindh (old) low type gained Rs 50 to Rs 1500 and good quality was higher by Rs 25 to Rs 1550, cotton seeds oilcake with bag Sindh (new) quoted at Rs 1600, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams sector, dealers said.
