National Karate camp for the forthcoming 11th South Asian Games in India will be commencing in a joint collaboration of Pakistan Sports Board and Pakistan Karate Federation from August 5 at PSB Coaching Center Lahore.
This was stated by National coach Khalid Noor while talking to APP here on Sunday. He said all arrangements for the smooth conduct of the camp for the forthcoming 11th edition of the South Asian Games to be scheduled from January 10-20, 2016 at India.
He said besides senior players who earlier on represented the country in international outings, some new faces along with junior male and female players will also part of the national camp. Khalid Noor, a double SAF gold medalist and current national coach disclosed that Babar Iqbal will assist him.
He said Pakistan team will also take part in the World Junior Championship in Indonesia, Asian Karate Championship in Yokohama, Japan and 10th edition of the Commonwealth Karate Championship to be played from September 18-20, 2015.
