Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting with the office-bearers of PML-N KP chapter on Tuesday. The Prime Minister said that PML-N believes in political harmony and consensus amongst the stake holders of democratic process. We respect the political mandate of all parties, he added. The PM further said that the law and order situation in the country is improving and operation Zarb-e-Azb is bearing its fruits. He hoped that soon Karachi will be a city of lights.
The PM said that country needs mature and experienced leadership which can serve the nation with devotion and selflessness. The PM said that completion of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will not only create economic turnaround for Pakistan but for the whole region.
Political situation in KP also came under discussion during the meeting. The Office-bearers apprised the PM of the political activities and latest developments regarding by-polls in NA-19 in Haripur district. The PM advised Babar Nawaz Khan, PML-N candidate for NA-19, to work hard with sincerity. Governor KP Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan, Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yusuf, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi, President PML-N KP Pir Sabir Shah, MNA Captain Muhammad Safdar (Retd), SAPM on Political Affairs Dr Asif Kirmani and Engineer Amir Muqam attended the meeting.-PR
