Firmness prevailed on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday as most of the commodities held overnight levels in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, wheat new Bardan registered at Rs 3225 and Rs 3250 due to balanced demand and supply, they said. On the rice sector, Basmati (broken) low type picked up Rs 300 to Rs 4800 while the best type sustained last level at Rs 5000, they said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh old shed Rs 50 to Rs 1500 and Rs 1550 and cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new quoted at Rs 1600, they said.
