Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police have arrested three seminary leaders for holding objectionable literature in their institutions which was recovered during scrutiny here on Saturday. According to details, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police and intelligence agencies launched an operation against seminaries and verified finger prints and data of teachers and students and seized religious literature the other day.
The CTD police under National Action Plan(NAP) raided famous religious institutions of the city including Jamia Al-Farooq, Housing Scheme, Jamia Hanafia, I-Block, Islamic University at Chak No 259/EB, Imam Bargah Hussainia at H-block Burewala to search for suspicious people and seized religious books and literature from their libraries.
