Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML) senior leader Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has said that bad governance, inefficiency and failure of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif have surfaced in all sector of human life.
"Every oppressed and helpless person is pinning hope in military courts for justice whether it is children abuse in Kasur or incidents of lawlessness," he said.
He was talking to the media after meeting the parents of Kasur child abuse scandal in village Hussain Khan Wala. Large number of PML-Q leaders and workers including MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema, Provincial Secretary Zaheeruddin Khan, MPA Vickas Hassan Mokal and Dr Azeemuddin Zahid Lakhvi accompanied him.
Expressing heartfelt grief and sorrow over martyrdom of Provincial Home Minister Shuja Khanzada and others in suicide attack in Attock, Parvez Elahi said that most tragic aspect of this incident was that he remained buried under the debris for many hours and even his nephew Sohrab Khanzada kept appealing to the Army Chief over the media to rescue his uncle as the Punjab Government was doing nothing for recovery of the minister from the debris.
Supporting the demand for Kasur tragedy case trial in the military court, Elahi said that his party will continue its struggle till justice was done to the affectees.
