In order to provide fresh environment to tourists, Galyat Development Authority (GDA) has decided to launch a week-long cleanliness drive in picturesque valley of Galyat, by August 21 (Friday). Besides, local students of various public sector schools, and tourists would take part in the cleanliness campaign. The drive will start from important valleys of Galyat, including Nathiagali, Dongagali, Khanpur, and other tourist attraction spots in the area.
According to details, the officials of GDA said a proposal was floated by Galyat Development Authority regarding cleanliness drive, aimed at address miseries and problems of tourists pertaining to parking, managing overcrowding tourists, cleanliness and other issues. For this purpose, they said a policy would be evolved. In the initial phase, locals will be provided to bags for dumping garbage and other house-wastes.
