Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, is visiting Islamabad on Monday (today) to kick off his party's campaign for local bodies elections in Punjab. According to details, the PPP leader is likely to meet office-bearers of 10 Punjab districts during his first formal political visit to the province that is aimed at finalising preparations for local government polls.
Party sources said the Chairman has decided to take command of local government elections and inject new spirit in the ranks and files as the party has been on the brink since 2013 general elections.
Reports said Shehla Raza and other PPP leaders have already reached Islamabad to make Bilawal's visit success.
After Islamabad, Bilawal will visit Lahore in second phase, report said and meet party leaders of the districts where local government elections are going to take place in the first phase.
