Upward trend on grain market

A rising trend was seen on the local commodity market on Tuesday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Masoor Canada low type gained Rs 800 to Rs 9200 and the best quality was higher by Rs 400 to Rs 9400, Masoor Dal Canada low type rose by Rs 200 to Rs 10800, the best type sustained overnight level, Gur low type was unmoved at Rs 7700 and the good type was up by Rs 2000 to Rs 6200, they said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type was down by Rs 25 to Rs 1525 and fine type was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 1550, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said. Prices were unchanged on the rice and grams sectors, they said.
