Punjab Minister for Labour and Human Resources Raja Ashfaq Sarwar said here that provincial government was utilising all its resources for providing best medical facilities to all registered industrial workers and labourers in the hospitals and health centres set up under social security.
He stated this while felicitating the newly-appointed medical superintendent of Nawaz Sharif Social Security Hospital, Multan Road, Professor Dr Muhammad Ashraf Nizami and his team for bringing improvement in medical facilities and administrative affairs in a short span of two months.
The minister said that at a time when Punjab Healthcare Commission teams expressed reservations over cleanliness situation during inspection of hospitals across Punjab, the hygienic condition at Nawaz Sharif Social Security Hospital was much better than any other hospital.
He hoped that the MS will leave no stone unturned in providing best possible medical facilities to labourers and their family members, besides utilising professional capabilities for the up-gradation of the hospital.
At the outset, the minister appreciated the MS Professor Nizami and his team, saying the Punjab Healthcare Commission during its inspection of Nawaz Sharif Social Security Hospital, had expressed its satisfaction over cleanliness and hygienic conditions prevailing at its operation theatre, wards and other sections.
