Presence of Turkish Airlines to strengthen contacts: chief minister

A delegation of investors led by Chairman Board of Directors of Albayrak group of companies, Turkey, Ahmet Albayrak met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, here on Wednesday. Matters regarding promotion of cooperation in solid waste management, energy and other sectors were discussed in the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkey are improving due to cooperation in various sectors.
He said that Turk companies are working in different sectors in Punjab and solid waste management system is successfully running due to cooperation of Turkey. He said that all out facilities are being extended to investors in the province. Shehbaz Sharif further said that flights of Turkish Airlines will further strengthen contacts between the two countries.
Chairman Albayrak group of companies Ahmet Albayrak said that his group wants to promote cooperation with Pakistan especially Punjab in energy sector along with solid waste management. He said that Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif is serving the people round the clock. He paid tributes to the Chief Minister for speedy implementation of development projects and said that Shehbaz Sharif is fully aware of the problems of the masses and making all out efforts for their solution. Ahmet Albayrak and other members of the delegation also offered condolences on the death of Begum Mian Meraj Din, aunt and mother-in-law of Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and offered Fateha for the departed soul. Chairman Lahore Transport Company Kh. Ahmad Hasaan, Secretary Minerals and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
