Central leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, MNA inaugurated Self-Employment Scheme with the cooperation of Zakat and Ushr Department and TEVTA, here on Wednesday with the distribution of Rs 50,000/= each to 205 persons in the first phase which would be extended to nine districts of the province.
Provincial Ministers Malik Nadeem Kamran, Zakiya Shahnawaz and Chaudhry Muhammad Shafiq, Senator Saood Majeed, Dr Amjad Saqib, Parliamentary Secretary Rana Muhammad Arshad, Secretaries concerned, students as well as people benefiting from Self-Employment Scheme were present on the occasion. Hamza described Self-Employment Scheme a revolutionary step of the govt and also distributed cheques as well as congratulated the people benefiting from this programme.
Hamza said that politicians should remember that people will hold them accountable in 2018 elections and the next mandate will be given only to those who can deliver. He made an appeal to the young generation to study and work hard for taking up their future responsibilities.
Hamza said that extraordinary situation demands extraordinary measures and this is what is being done under the leadership of PM Muhammad Nawaz Sahrif. This fact has been openly acknowledged by Washington Post in its analysis. He said PML-N leadership is not worried about elections but is striving for strengthening of Pakistan. He said a new era is being ushered in the country and the govt will be able to overcome loadshedding and other issues by the end of 2017. The project of economic corridor will bring about economic prosperity in Pakistan and other countries will desire its support.
He said that Pakistan wants dialogue with India on equal level and without compromising on national dignity and honour. Hamza further said that those who were asking Pakistan to 'do more' are now standing shoulder to shoulder with the country which is a great achievement of the present leadership. He said that increase in foreign investment especially support of China in important sectors augurs well. Hamza said that the challenge of terrorism is being effectively dealt with and the sacrifices of Pak Army and other national institutions in operation Zarb-e-Azab will not go waste.
