13 Sep, 2015

Employees of National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) have urged the government to take serious steps to announce a comprehensive service structure immediately; otherwise they would launch country-wide campaign. Central President of All Pakistan Nadra Employees Union (APNEU) Muhammad Saleem Sherpao while speaking at the press conference on Saturday has said Nadra employees were awaited since long for up-gradation, medical, and other facilities due to absence of proper service structure for them.
He said they had raised voice for rights of employees, for which the Nadra management started victimisation policy, and dismissed number of employees across the country, including him. He strongly criticised the top management of the Nadra for misusing of funds and power. He recalled that the government was agreed to provide services structure and per upper scale to all employees within next six months, during consecutive three meetings with Nadra chairman on March 03, 2015. But, he said no step was taken in this regard. He said the authorities had sacked employees instead of fulfilling their commitment.
