Hafiz Mohammad Yousaf has been unanimously elected as president of council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) for 2015-16 while Nadeem Yousuf Adil and Hidayat Ali have been elected as vice president-South and vice president-North, respectively.
They were elected in the 268th meeting of the association. Hafiz Mohammad Yousaf is a fellow member of ICAP and also holds CA degree from Canada and CPA, CGMA, CMC, CMA and CIA from USA. With 30 years of experience, he is on the boards of Punjab Pension, Provident Funds established by the provincial government and Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan where he is also chairing its oversight committee. He has been a part of many important initiatives at ICAP and has served in various important local and international committees as member and chairman. Nadeem Yousuf Adil is a fellow member of the institute. He has 22 years of experience in public practice. He has served as chairman and member of various committees of the institute. He is also a board member of the institute.
Hidayat Ali is also a fellow member of the institute. He is a practising member of the institute. He has also served on various institute committees as member and chairman. The institute is a professional body of Chartered Accountants in Pakistan and symbolises accountants engaged in public practice, business and industry, and the public and private sectors. The institute presently has over 7,000 members and more than 30,000 registered students. It envisions preparing dynamic and state-of-the-art "business leaders" for the 21st Century, capable of addressing the challenges being faced by the corporate sector of Pakistan and the global economy.
