'Land record of co-operative societies being computerised'

Provincial Minister for Co-operatives, Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channer has said that land record of all co-operative societies of the province is being computerised at a cost Rs 95.34 million while new development schemes will be completed with a sum of Rs 204 million. He was presiding over a departmental meeting here today. The Minister said that Co-operative Training College Faisalabad will be upgraded with an amount of Rs 159 million whereas a sum of Rs 45 million will be spent on Regional Co-operative Training Institute Bahawalpur.
He said the co-operative housing societies system is running smoothly and in a transparent manner and all necessary facilities are available in these societies. He said that investment of people is safe in co-operative societies.
