Seven alleged terrorists killed in 'encounters'

Law-Enforcement Agencies( LEAs) on Thursday claimed to have killed seven alleged terrorists in separate encounters here. According to police sources, first raid was conducted in Mochko area where police killed three accused associated with a banned Lyari gang war group. The raid was conducted on a tipoff about their presence. Their identities were later ascertained as Rashid son of Khalil, Wahid Dad, Nadir aka Jangjo.
Another accused identified as Abbas was killed during a police encounter in Docks area. He was reportedly involved in various target killing cases. Two more terrorists were killed in cross firing with Sindh Rangers during a search operation in New Karachi. They were involved in different sectarian killings. Meanwhile, another terrorist was killed by paramilitary troops in Qasba Colony area. He was allegedly involved in target killings of Rangers' personnel and bomb blasts in the city.
