The Supreme Court on Friday issued notices to all provincial and Islamabad chief law officers and Deputy Attorney General in a matter of service structure and difficulties in release of salaries to Lady Health Workers (LHWs). Appearing before a two-member bench of Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry and Justice Gulzar Ahmad in the matter, LHWs representative Bushra Arian submitted that the concerned authorities failed to pay them salaries according to pay scale and framing service structure.
The bench issued notices to all provincial and Islamabad chief law officers and Deputy Attorney General in the matter and adjourned the hearing till September 22.
