Get ready to go on an new adventure as ‘Dora the Explorer’ is coming back to the screens but this time in form of a live-action movie.
Actress Isabela Moner gave fans a glimpse of her the big movie, the upcoming live-action 'Dora the Explorer' film. In the photo shared by the young actress, she can be seen sporting Dora’s signature pink shirt with orange shorts and yellow socks.
After Isabela, Paramount Pictures, simultaneously shared a similar image via Twitter.

Dora aired on Nickelodeon for 172 episodes from 2000 to 2014. It centers on a young American Latina who, along with her monkey, went on quests.
Back in May, when Moner was announced for the role, she said in a statement, “I’m honored and excited to bring Dora to life. I grew up watching the show, and for me, especially as a Latina, Dora was an amazing role model — she is a strong, adventurous and fun-loving girl. I can’t wait to put on the backpack and begin her next adventure,” Metro reported.
Action director Michael Bay's company Platinum Dunes will be producing the film, which is set for an August 2019 release.
