The Central Executive Committee of Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA) could not reach to any conclusion regarding the verdict of Director General Trade Organisations declaring the election of PCGA null and void. In the absence of Haji Muhammad Akram, chairman of Ginners group (who has gone to perform Hajj), ginners have divided into different factions and they are opposing the nomination of Shehzad Ali Khan as Chairman of PCGA.
Opponents of Shehzad Ali Khan are very happy on the suspension of election process of PCGA on the petition of Ehsan-ul-Haq Chaudhry of Rahimyar Khan. DGTO of Ministry of Commerce has declared the elections of PCGA as null and void.
