A delegation led by Guo Yu, Chairman of renowned Chinese Company constructing gas power plants called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here Tuesday. Talking to the delegation, the Chief Minister said that work is continuing speedily on energy projects for coping with energy crisis.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, a war-footing strategy has been evolved for implementation of energy projects and every step is being taken for overcoming electricity shortage. He said that the Chinese co-operation for coping with energy crisis is highly appreciable. Shahbaz Sharif said that China has always supported Pakistan and Chinese President has given a historic economic package in Pakistan for overcoming energy crisis. He said that 18 crore people of Pakistan can never forget sincerity and love of China. He said that gas power plants of 1200 megawatt each are being set up at three places in Punjab and work is being carried out speedily in this regard.
The Chief Minister said that the projects of gas power plants are of great importance for decreasing energy crisis, that is why, early completion of these projects is one of the priorities of the government. He said that like precious projects, high quality, transparency and speedy work will also be carried out on gas power projects. He said that the sincere and serious efforts made under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for energy projects are unprecedented in the history of the country.
Chairman Chinese Company Guo Yu speaking on the occasion said that gas power projects will be completed with high quality and within stipulated period according to the vision of Shahbaz Sharif.
