The Sindh government has conditionally allowed qinqi rickshaws to ply the streets once again with maximum seats for four passengers. The Advocate General of Sindh had submitted a request in the Supreme Court to this effect. Earlier, transporters had filed an appeal in the court against the recent ban on the qingi rickshaws. Their request was accepted on humanitarian grounds to save hundreds of drivers from getting unemployed.
