Pakistan U-19 squad for Sri Lanka tour announced

Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shaharyar Mohammad Khan has approved the 16-member Pakistan Under-19 squad for the tour to Sri Lanka following the recommendation of the four-member junior selection committee. "The Under-19 squad consists of 16 players. It will form the nucleus of our team for the ICC World Cup next year, hence the extra player", said Chairman PCB. The junior selection committee is headed by Basit Ali, with Ali Zia, Ali Naqvi and Farrukh Zaman as members.
Pakistan team will play 2 three-day and 5 one-day matches against Sri Lanka U-19. The team will depart on 1st October 2015. Pakistan Under-19 Squad for tour to Sri Lanka 2015 is as under: Abdullah Shafiq (Sialkot), Zeeshan Malik (Rawalpindi), Shadab Khan (Rawalpindi), Umair Masood (WK - Rawalpindi), Muhammad Umar (FATA), Hayat Alam (FATA), Sameen Gul (FATA), Hamza Khan (Peshawar), Aon Abbas (Islamabad), M. Bilal Shah (Abbottabad), Irfan Liaqat (Multan), Imran Rafiq- Captain (Multan), Hassan Mohsin (Karachi), Awais Iqbal V. Cap (Rawalpindi), Saif Ali Ghauri (Karachi), Kamran Afzal (Lahore) Asjad Nawaz (Islamabad), Saif Badar (Silakot), Aarish Ahmad (WK - Karachi), Asad Malik (Hyderabad), Mir Wais Khan (Lahore) are named as reserves.
