Two schoolgirls among 5 killed in road mishaps

Five people, including two schoolgirls, died in separate road incidents in the metropolis on Thursday. Two schoolgirls, Nadia, 16, daughter of Aslam; Jan Gul, 12, daughter of Gul Muhammad and their rickshaw driver, Muhammad Ali, 50, son of Kumar, were killed when a speedy dumper-truck crushed them while they were on the way to home from school in Memon Goth, Malir. The bodies were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for autopsies. The driver' however, fled.
A man, Saleem, 33, son of Umer, died when a speeding vehicle hit him near Saba Cinema in New Karachi. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed hospital for a post-mortem. Kanber, 55, son of Abdul Samad, was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him near Baloch Colony Bridge. The body was shifted to JPMC for medico-legal formalities.
