Heatwaves on Friday scorched Sindh's all districts with maximum 41 degrees Celsius as Met office projected the mercury rise would continue in the next 24 hours. The weather index shows the temperature rise struck nine districts across Sindh with maximum 41 degrees Celsius that include Karachi, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Tharparkar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar, Noshahro Feroze, Ghotki and Khairpur.
Temperature in other districts like Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, Hyderabad, Tando Allah Yar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Mityari, Dadu, Larkana, Shikarpur, Kashmore and Qambar Shadadkot was 40 degrees Celsius and Jamshoro, Sukkur and Jacobabad was 39 degree Celsius. Thatta, Hyderabad, Sanghar, Noshahro Feroze, Khairpur, Dadu, Umerkot, Tharparkar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Ghotki and Kashmore are expected to sizzle from maximum 41 degrees Celsius, while Karachi, Qambar Shadadkot, Sujawal, Badin, Tando Allah Yar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Mityari, Mirpurkhas, Larkana and Shikarpur to bear 40 degrees and Sukkur, Jacobabad and Jamshoro 39 degrees on Saturday.
