Renowned politician, former federal minister, Senator and closed aide to late Benazir Bhutto Shaheed, Gulzar Ahmed Khan died in Lahore on Sunday after a brief illness. The father of Senator Waqar Ahmed Khan, Former Federal Minister and Senator Ammar Ahmed Khan, was himself senior most parliamentarian for almost 35 years.
He was closed aid to Late Benazir Bhutto and also served her as Special Advisor when she was prime minister. She used to live in his house in Lahore when she visited Punjab. He was a living legend. His Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered on Tuesday 2 pm at 91 B 2 Gulzar House, Gulberg 3.
Meanwhile, the Chief of Qaumi Watan Party Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao has paid rich tributes to Malik Gulzar Ahmed Khan and said that his services for democracy and progressive politics will always be remembered.
