Inspector General (IG) Sindh Police Ghulam Hyder Jamali has said that sons of martyr cops, who laid their lives for restoring peaces and saving others' lives, would be hired as ASIs in Sindh Police.
He expressed these views while speaking on the occasion of a ceremony for distribution of cheques and gifts among relatives of martyrs held at new DIG office at Bhitai Nangar on Sunday.
"Besides jobs, financial aid would be provided to families of martyrs," he said adding that because they laid their lives for saving lives of others.
He said that the restoration of peace in the Sindh province was made possible due to the sacrifice of policemen.
Such sacrifices helped in bringing down crimes rate in the province, he said.
On the occasion, he also distributed certificates of better performance among policemen who performed their duties honestly.
DIG Hyderabad, SSPs of Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Badin and others officials were present on the occasion.
