The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the Punjab has written a letter to the Election Commission of Pakistan to provide it with computerised voter lists. In his letter, the party organiser Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar wrote, "... It came as a shock to the voters when they reached polling stations ... These voters did cast their votes during the 2013 general elections and they never applied for the transfer or cancellation of their votes.
I request you to kindly provide us all official record pertaining to the transfer of votes in comparison to 2013 voters' list and also those ones which were transferred out of this constituency ..."
