Iranian border guards fired on Saturday eight mortar shells into Pakistani territory of Panjgur district of Balochistan. A senior official of Balochistan government confirmed Iran had violated Pakistani border. "Eight mortars landed and exploded on an empty plot in Panjgur," he said. "No loss of life has been reported." According to residents, the back-to-back explosions occurred in Nukar area of Panjgur.
