Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) on Sunday claimed to have arrested eight suspects including four terrorists involved in attacks on security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The LEAs conducted raids in different areas of the city including Baldia Town, Jamshed Quarters, Sultanabad, and Mobina Town, which led to the arrest of the criminals, allegedly associated with political parties, gang war groups, and banned outfit organisations.
Rangers arrested four terrorists from Sultanabad area, who were claimed to be involved in attacks on security forces in KP. Sources said that the terrorists hailed from Waziristan and associated with a banned organisation. One of the suspects identified as Badshah Khan was nabbed in an injured condition.
Similarly, police detained a member of Lyari gang war from Baldia Town. The culprit, Shah Nawaz, was involved in extortion activities, police said. Three suspects were also arrested from Mobina Town area.
Meanwhile, unidentified men opened fire on sub-inspector on Hub River road and wounded him.
