Noman Ahmed Shaikh, Senior Vice Chairman Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP) has appreciated the services of S M Munir, Chief Executive Trade Development Authority of Pakistan. He said S M Munir (SI) was the leader of business community and his services were unmatchable. He has been working without salary and did not avail any benefits from TDAP. He played very important role to enhance the exports of our country.
He has totally changed the culture of TDAP into service-oriented organisation. The improvements are visible, witnessed and acknowledged by the national and international level. He completely curbed/eliminated the corruption from TDAP. Senior Vice Chairman REAP said he was a respectable and high profile businessman and leading exporter of the leather. He gave the platform to all trade associations that ultimately enhanced the export performance. Under his leadership the Prime Minister of Pakistan conducted long-term meeting with the Business Community to resolve their issues.
REAP admire and appreciate the services of S M Munir, Chief Executive TDAP, for the support and co-operation extended for the betterment of rice export trade. "Whenever, REAP requires any support Munir is always there for help. Recently REAP has sent him a letter with the proposals and suggestions for the betterment of rice export trade, which he kindly forwarded to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for his kind consideration," he mentioned. He said business community was proud of S M Munir and urged the higher authorities of Government of Pakistan to take notice of such news. He demanded that such profile person like S M Munir may be appointed as head of other public sector organisations.-PR
