Former Indian cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu has reached Pakistan through Wagha border, to attend the soon-to-be prime minister Imran Khan's oath taking ceremony.

He was invited by Khan for the oath taking ceremony that will take place tomorrow. Sidhu arrived in Lahore via Wagah border, from where he will now travel to Islamabad for Khan's swearing-in.
Earlier this week, former Indian captain Kapil Dev, who was also invited by Khan, said he will not be attending the oath-taking ceremony, citing personal reasons.

Sidhu interacted with the media after crossing the border of India-Pakistan. Speaking to the media, Sidhu said he is unconcerned about what Indian people will say about his visit to Pakistan, he is here to support his old friend Khan. He further added that he has come with a message of hope and peace between the two nations.
