England, Poland fined for Euro 2016 crowd trouble

England's Football Association were fined 15,000 euros by UEFA on Friday for crowd trouble following the team's Euro 2016 qualifier against Lithuania. The sanction was the result of "incidents in public" after England's 3-0 win. The Lithuanian federation were fined 30,000 euros for crowd trouble, blocked stairways and for limiting fans' movement.
Poland received the heaviest fine of 40,000 euros for trouble during their 2-2 draw against Scotland in Glasgow with the Scottish authorities hit with a 20,000-euro sanction.
